:What is Civics:
Civics: Is the study of the duties and rights of citizens. Citizens are the members of a community who owe Loyalty to a government and who are protected by that government. Government is the ruling authority for a community. Citizens need to understand their rights and responsibilities. Citizens support their Community and government when they carry out their responsibilities.
The founder of the United States believed in the value of civic. Thomas Jefferson wrote. ¨Whenever the people are well informed, They can be trusted with their own government. ¨ Informed citizens are able to make wise decisions about public issues. They are also better able to make decisions about candidates for public office.
