                                   Responsibility Of Citizens:

For society to work, all citizens must do their part. Citizens must help one another. They must also allow one another to voice their ideas and concerns. When everyone participates and works together, they enjoy a society that works well.


                                Be  An Informed And Active Citizen:

Your city, And state, and federal government make decisions that affect your life. These decisions might involve changing tax rates or spending government money on services. 

Citizens have a responsibility to be informed about what is happening. They also must make an effort to understand the issues. Then they can express their opinions or decide how to vote on an issue.


Citizens are also responsible for making sure that the government is working properly. They must communicate their opinions and concerns to government officials. Public officials need to hear what citizens need and want. Then their actions can reflect citizens interests. There are various ways to make your voice heard. You might support a cause that you care about by contacting elected officials and, above all, by voting.


¨The ultimate rulers of our Democracy are not a president and senators and Congressmen and Government Officials but the voters of this Country.

Voting is responsibility that gives citizens the  opportunity to shape the future of their communities, States, and Nation. In the united states, all citizens (18) eighteen years of age and other have the right to vote.

Responsible voters take time to learn about the candidates and the issues before they vote. They also pay attention to the actions of their elective officials. Voters can replace poorly performing officials in the next election. Voting ensures peaceful and orderly changes in leadership.


                                        Respect The Rights Of Others:

Another responsibility of good citizens is to treat other politely and respectfully. People of many different backgrounds live in the united states. Everyone has the right to his or her opinions, Beliefs, and practices.

Respecting and accepting others, Regardless of differences, Is called Tolerance.

Tolerance allows America diverse population to live together peacefully.


                                        Contribute To The Common Good:

In order for communities and government to grow,  People need to participate.

Responsible citizens are willing to give time, Effort, and money to improve Community life. The members of a community must Contribute to the common good, or the things that benefit all members of the community.

            For Example:

Everyone benefits from having safe streets, good schools, and a Clean Environment.

Good citizens care about the welfare, The Health, Prosperity, And Happiness of all members of their community. One way to help others is by Volunteering.

Volunteerism = Is the practice  of offering your time and services to others without receiving payment. Millions of american do volunteer work. Without  their efforts, Many important community needs would not be met.


People do many kinds of volunteer work. Neighbors get together on a weekend to clean up a park.

Community  organizations collect supplies for needy families. Retirees record books for the blind.

You might go with friend to visit nursing homes or collect food for a local pantry.


People also support causes by giving money to charities, There are more than (1) one million charities in the united states.

They focused on issue such as health, Hunger, Youth Activities, And Animal Welfare.

Americans give more than $ 300 Billion to charity each year. Much of this money comes from gifts made by ordinary people.

The Federal government supports Volunteerism through many agencies. The Corporation For National And Community Service Provides Money. Training, and other help for Volunteer groups. It also manages other agencies that work in Education, Public Safety, Health, And the environment.
